Instructions for feeling again

Emotional tiredness

Emotional Tiredness

When “I’m fine” means “I’m just tired of everything”

There’s a kind of tired that has nothing to do with sleep.
It’s the weight of always keeping yourself together.
Of being the one who listens, understands, and helps, even when you don’t have the energy.
You keep saying “I’m fine,” because explaining why you’re not would take too much out of you.

When rest doesn’t fix it

It’s strange how you can look rested and still feel worn out.
You can sleep eight hours and wake up heavy.
You can smile, work, and show up – and still feel like you’ve been running for years.
It’s not something people can see.
It only shows in the small things – in the long pause before you answer,
in the quiet sigh when no one’s around.

It’s not laziness — it’s invisible weight

Maybe you’re not lazy.
Maybe you’re not unmotivated.
Maybe you’re just carrying too many things that no one else can see.
The worries, the pressure, the constant noise inside your head.
You’ve been strong for so long that even peace feels strange.

You don’t need to prove your tiredness.
You don’t need to earn your rest.
Sometimes, being human is reason enough to stop for a while.
